The Digital Video Witness PC based DVR in a mini-case is the same high quality
materials as the full-size, however this DVR uses octupus cables instead of a
BNC plate. You won't miss any of the features that the full-size DVR has. SAY
Security Group USA presents the DVW Professional Series Digital Video
Recorder. SAY has developed a new DVR by installing an embedded operating
system called XOS to power the Professional Series DVRs. XOS serves as a
superior alternative to Windows 98, 2000, and XP which were installed on
previous systems. XOS runs on read-only memory inside the DVR, which ensures
virus-free operation, faster boot-up times, self healing capabilities, and automatic
software/firmware updates via the internet. The DVW Professional Series DVR
provides users with all the features of a PC DVR with the stability of an
embedded DVR. Real-time remote monitoring enables the user to view, back-up
and search up to 32 cameras on one system. With high-speed recording of up to
480 frames per second, users no longer worry about smoothness of video. High
resolution compression (4-6 KB) along with a patented proprietary algorithm and
up to 4 TB (4,000 GB) means storage
limitations and inferior picture quality are no longer problems.
